The above-listed data is processed for the following purposes:

An evaluation of the visitors’ IP-address is only conducted in the case of an attack on the NOVUM GmbH network infrastructure.

NOVUM GmbH does not create any user profiles. As soon as we expand our Internet website to include the creation of user profiles, we will alert you of your right to objection.

Regarding the preceding cases mentioned, no personal data will be processed unless you, the user, expressly authorize further processing.

4. Accumulation, processing and use of personal data

You can visit our website without giving any personal information. We only collect personal data when, and only in the previously-mentioned scope, with you express authorization, respectively, for the use and dissemination which you have previously approved. Disclosure, as in the case of the forwarding of personal information to governmental institutions and or authorities, is only carried out within the bounds of federal compulsory legal guidelines.

You may retract any previously given consent at any time (right of withdrawal).

5. Pertaining to the use of cookies

We use ‘cookies’ on various pages of our website in order to make a visit to our site more attractive, but also to enable use of certain functions. Here, we refer to small text files which are archived in your computer. Most of these cookies are then deleted from your hard drive after the browser-session has been ended (thus, the so-called ‘session-cookies’). Other cookies remain on your hard drive and enable us to recognize your computer in future visits to our site (so-called ‘permanent cookies’). Cookies are data records which are sent from the web server to the user’s web browser and are then saved there for future retrieval. Whether cookies are to be collected or not, is determined by the individual user. This is done by adjusting the browser settings accordingly. The user is informed in advance and storage of cookies only occurs when you, the user, expressly give approval.

We only use cookies for obtaining information about our website and for governmental purposes. The data records contain no personal information. A compilation of any personal information provided by you, the user, is not carried out.

6. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’, text files which are stored on your computer and which make an analysis of how you use the website possible. The information concerning your use of the website (including your IP-address), which is obtained by the cookie, is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google uses this information in turn to analyze the use of their website, to produce reports regarding website activities for website operators and to provide further website and Internet–related services. Likewise, Google will also forward this information on to third parties, provided that the law dictates this or if Google outsources the processing of said data to these third parties. Not in any case will Google link your IP-address to other data which is stored by Google. By adjusting your browser settings accordingly, you can hinder the installation of cookies; here we would like to point out, however, that in this case, you will not be able to use all applicable functions of this website to their full extent. By using this website alone, you have already acquiesced to the processing of your Google-collected personal data in the previously described manner and for aforementioned intended purpose.

We only use cookies for the purpose of obtaining information concerning the use of our website as well as for statistical purposes. These data records contain no personal information. A compilation of any personal information provided by you, the user, is not carried out.

An additional application in the tracking code enables us to store a shortened form of your IP-address. This means that the last octet of the IP-address is dropped, thus allowing our visitors to remain anonymous.

7. Right of access to information

According to federal data protection law, you, the user, have the right to information concerning your stored data free of charge, as well as, when applicable, the right to amendment, suspension or deletion of said data.

This data security declaration is only valid for the contents of our server and does not, where applicable, encompass any linked websites found on our site.
